Shankar software has released version 30.8.0 of their Shankar Branch Accounting Inventory Software.
This version added facility to print selected columns and rows in all list views. It also added a newspaper format multicolumnar printing on the same page. For example if 100 rows are to be printed and 20 rows will fit on the page, it will print rows 1 to 20 in the first column, rows 21-40 in the second column of the same page, rows 41 to 60 in the first column of next page and so on. The number and position of columns in a page is user designed with several predefined formats available.
This software is especially suitable for automatic branch syncronization and management. The software can transmit and consolidate data from multiple branches, sites, factories over the internet and make branch management simpler.

Shankar software has released version 30.7.1 of their Shankar Branch Accounting Inventory Software.
This version added an automatic transaction listing tab, the tab will list the past transactions containing the currently selected field value. For example, to see all sales invoices for a customer, select the customer in the customer field and the fieldwise list tab fills up automatically with the sales invoices belonging to that customer. Press enter on selected transactions to load them for viewing or editing. The tab works with any type of field like date, number etc but will not work with text fields.
